From the Miami Herald editorial page:

It would be oh, so refreshing if some School Board members up for reelection would stop campaigning while on the dais during board meetings. They're supposed to be conducting school business then, not playing to the audience. A handful of board members also are basing their reelection campaigns on criticizing Mr. Crew. At a time when the district is suffering its worst financial crisis in years, this kind of small-minded electioneering is needlessly divisive when the school district needs unity in the face of adversity.
