Plum Job - Ctd.

Yesterday I wrote about McCain campaign manager Rick Davis's lobbying firm still collecting a $15,000 a month fee from Freddie Mac. I got a petulant comment from someone named "Mike" who sounded a lot like Michael Goldfarb, the McCain campaign's blogger, who said, without any citation, that the accusation was "demonstrably false" and that Mr. Davis had severed all ties with Davis & Manafort in 2006.

Except he hasn't. According to Newsweek, he was still listed as a director and the treasurer of the firm as recently as March 2008.
