What was the first "grown-up" movie you saw, and how did it change you, if at all?My answer is below the fold.
My parents took me to see To Kill a Mockingbird when it opened in 1962. I was ten or so, and it was the first movie I saw that wasn't some Disney fare or fantasy. It really touched me and still does.
